This Post is for Papa

Papa, please note that the handle bar is very much appreciated!
It made for much simpler mounting and more effective "blast off."
And, I finally tried my quick sequence photography.
This is actually a face of excitement, not terror.
Caleb was so proud and kept right up!
Faith started the "hands in the air" trend.
So much fun!

Fireflies with my Cutiepies!

It's the season of long days, lingering twilight and sparkly bugs.
When I was mowing grass, I caught three lightening bugs in a jar.
The children saw them in the jar during the day
and were not that impressed.
But when Mommy got them back out of bed,
after already being asleep,
it was summer bliss!
They actually DID light up in the jar, then we removed the lid...
Jake helped with the release, Faith wasn't so sure.
I think she was still a bit stunned to be awakened and brought outdoors.
Freedom!

It was such a fun memory, I'll do it again on these long days.

The Aquarium

On my list of summer activities "To Do" was a visit to

I convinced my parents to help me and we had a blast!

I knew Jake would love it!

Caleb thought he was so big...
Then he thought he was so sly,
peeking at me when he didn't think I could see.

The "Goliath Grouper."

The Ocean tunnel

Look up!

Oh my!
Jake was mesmerized.

This looks like a screen, but they were real jellyfish - way cool!

Look in that tunnel -

Yay!

We ended with a take out order of McD's and a picnic by the river.
Thank you, Nana & Papa, for helping with the fun day!
