More fun in the Field

We walked back down to the field for some bubble fun!
Sweet Caleb helping Mommy blow bubbles.

Jake looks so handsome, don't you think?

Everything Faith does is done with all her heart.

Fantastic, carefree times....followed by homework.
Everyone works very hard on their homework, even Caleb!
It was the first time he joined in on the homework action.

Get Your Farm On (part 2)

All three enjoyed "squawking" at he chickens.

There were some friendly bunnies ... this wasn't one of them.

See Caleb pointing at the chicken?  He was so serious.

Jake chose to ride the bumper cars.

(His mean face)

Look at the name of this building!

Faith chose to ride the Merry Go Round.
She loves them, remember?

Great lighting - can I get a good photo?  Nope.

I still tried to take advantage of the pretty lighing.

Happy Girl!

Caleb was wound up when we returned home.

But then he crashed hard... me, too.

Get Your Farm On!

We went to the TN Valley Fair

I was feeling brave to be one adult coralling three children!

Caleb looking at the goats.

Faith in a goat pen.

Jake befriending the goats.

Yes, I am the mom who brought microwave popcorn bags and avoided paying for fair food.
(though it smelled delicious!)

Jake was facinated by the old motors.

And these are my efforts to get a photo of all three...
Oh well - one adult with three is at a disadvantage sometimes.  Seriously, the children were so good, we really had fun and there are more photos coming!

Morning

Rising early isn't always easy.
Sunrise over the cornfield behind our neighborhood, I love the fog rising.

But it usually provides great benefits for the rest of the day.

morning glories on the back deck.

Just Random picutures -

"Are they twins?"

I heard it again this week while Caleb & Faith were in a shopping cart.

I love the gusto this girl has!

Jake, too, but in a more mellow way.

A Wedding Story

This is our neighbor and carpool mate, Sydnie.

She got to come over after school one day.

Jake thought she might like a flower -

She did!

"Do you want to play wedding?" Sydnie asked.

"Ewwww no," Jake replied while sprinkling flower petals.

But then Jake proceeded to draw pink hearts for Sydnie.

She was very appreciative.

I guess he doesn't mind the mushy stuff after all!

Jump!

Everytime we are at the mall, Jake and Faith ask to jump.
Mommy finally said, "Yes!"

Jake's cowbow hat didn't fall off until the very end.

Caleb watched from the ground and said, "Too scary."
