Jake has had strep throat multiple times since beginning kindergarten, so we scheduled a tonsillectomy during his spring break. Poor guy, some kids go to Disney, the beach or the mountains, and he gets a trip to the hospital.
This was taken shortly after the surgery. He was still loopy and enjoying a slushy...
the slushy didn't last long in his tummy.
Jake asked if he got to keep the wheel chair.
Today he is in more pain, but the nausea seems a bit better. He's been an excellent patient.

Awww.... poor guy. That's such a scary thing to go through and at such a young age, but he is quite brave though. I wish him a speedy recovery.
